A | Zero, released in 2018, had not performed well at the box office. The Shah Rukh Khan starrer did not live upto fans' expectations and director Aanand L Rai has recently opened up about the same. He noted that he did not properly make use of Shah Rukh Khan's stardom or weave it into the character. During an interview with Galatta Plus, Aanand noted that he should have understood that SRK comes with a stardom that requires to be utilised. He reveals having realised later that he should have taken care of the actor's image. "The problem with Zero was that, that man..that superstar came to me with so much of love and me being me, I never understood that it’s not an actor director who was going to make a story. There was a superstar attached, his image is there, which I have to understand and get in the film. I was working with an actor, a big actor. I realised much later that there is an image that I had to take care of," the director quipped. He further added that many feel his films are without the baggage of a star. Emphasising on the statement, Aanand shared that he probably does not know how to utilise someone's stardom. "When you say that my films are without the baggage of a star, somewhere I agree that maybe I am unable to incorporate that stardom in my characters. At times, people want to see their stars in a character, but a part of the star should also be there, which I was unable to do. I was floating, those bearings were not there, they were moved," he said. Having said that, the director opened up on working with SRK. Calling it a "rewarding experience," Aanand noted that he should have understood the actor and his image better while filming the movie. Also Read: Tere Ishk Mein Review: Dhanush and Kriti Sanon Shine in This Deeply Intense Love Story。

B | New Delhi, Oct 19 (UNI) Union Minister of Education and Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan launched the draft of National Credit Framework (NCrF) for public consultation here on Wednesday.
Taking the vision of the new National Education Policy (NEP) as envisioned under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Government of India has developed the National Credit Framework (NCrF) to enable the integration of academic and vocational domains to ensure flexibility and mobility between the two.
NCrF would be a game changer by opening numerous options for further progression of students and inter-mingling of school and higher education with vocational education and experiential learning, thus mainstreaming skilling and vocational education.
NCrFwill also enable students who have dropped out of the mainstream education to re-enter the education ecosystem, an official statement said.
Speaking on the occasion, Pradhan said that Jan-bhagidari is a key pillar of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance and NEP 2020 also embodies the spirit of Jan-bhagidari.
He said National Credit Framework is a next generation, multidimensional instrument under NEP. We are dedicating NCrF for ‘Jan-paramarsh’ to make it more dynamic.
Pradhan further said that National Credit Framework is an umbrella framework for skilling, re-skilling, up-skilling, accreditation & evaluation encompassing our people in educational & skilling institutions and workforce.
'We have to make India a $5 trillion economy, accomplish the vision of a Vikasit Bharat in the next 25 years and empower 100% of our population and the National Credit Framework will be the most important instrument under NEP for realising these goals. India is adopting technology at an unprecedented pace. We have to bring reforms to incentivise knowledge, skills & experience. Credits for knowledge acquisition, hands-on training, and positive social outcomes will be a key step for achieving 100% literacy in the next 2-3 years,' he added.
The Minister appealed to all institutions, schools, ITIs, AICTE-affiliated engineering colleges, centrally-funded HEIs, state universities and regulatory authorities/bodies to host the public consultation for National Credit Framework on their website for seeking suggestions from citizens.
